What's Happening
4th Annual Poster

The Run was a great time as always, had a lot of fun. A lot of work went into the old Tusker site to bring it back up to it's past glory. A lot of thanks go out to all that helped rebuild the site; Sean, Marty, Kelly, Traci, Jimmy, Sarah, Mugsy, Jonesy, Mo, Dave, Tony, Gloria, Lonnie, Jeff, George, Brian, Darryl, Pete, Whitey, Albert, and of course Vinny, as well as many more that should be mentioned, but my memory is a little fuzzy, you know who you are. Even now that it is known as the Run for Charity site, you still get a feeling of being at a Tusker. The 3rd annual Southern Cycles Run for Charity should be even bigger and better.

3rd Annual Poster So much for thinking we had it easy this year, with the buildings all done, the new grass planted, and everything in place. 2 weeks before the run it started to rain, and rain, and rain. We had river watch out for the week before the run, and to take precautions we moved what we could to higher ground. Sure enough 4 days before the run the river came flowing through the site. At first it was a lot of nasty words and why again this year, but we buckled down and went to work. We rented a stage from the South Country Fair, a kitchen unit from The Keg, found a temporary site and started again. It was a lot of work relocating the fire wood, sound shack, fire pit, pig pit, etc. A whole lot of thanks goes out to Tony, Gloria, Wes, Card Mark Card, Mugsy, Jeff, Marty, the crew from Wilson Drilling (We had that stage put up in record time!). Thanks as usual to the regular staff members and others that I can't remember right now, you know who you are. I hope to have some pictures up soon. Looking forward to the 4th annual because it's been an adventure so far!
